Simple and Advanced views
An event preparation can be displayed in two ways. Both use the same production: the same scenes, sources, audio settings and transitions. Switching views does not recreate the camera or microphone and interrupts neither the live nor the recording.

Opening view
The preparation opens in Simple. Studio does not ask you to choose beforehand: the header lets you switch at any time.
Switching views
At the top right, the Simple and Advanced buttons show the active view (blue button).
Switching to Advanced
Click Advanced. The full control room appears immediately, without confirmation. See The Advanced control room at a glance.
Switching to Simple
Click Simple. Studio asks for confirmation, because some Advanced automations stop:
Switch to simple mode? Your scenes, sources, audio levels and transitions are preserved and the layout changes. Running macros and rundown tracking stop, and the schedule is suspended: activate it again when you return to advanced mode.
- Stay in advanced: changes nothing.
- Switch to simple: applies the change.
What is kept
- Scenes, sources and their order.
- Audio mixer settings (volumes, mute).
- Transitions and transition duration.
- Live elements, macros, rundown and schedule (saved with the preparation).
- Devices chosen in Simple: they remain the camera and microphone of the scene.
The chosen view grants no rights: broadcast authorization is still decided by Vivastream.
